“Our custom fabrication and historic restoration work dates back to the early 1970’s. We have worked on projects from new homes and office buildings to the glass dome of the main conservatory of the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, to the extensive restoration of Old Fort Niagara near Youngstown, New York. Our specialty is traditional craftsmanship and a passion and respect for classical construction methods.”
—John A. Gulick, Founder, J.A. Gulick Window Company
J.A. Gulick Window Co has a passion for hand crafted windows and doors! Whether we are preserving existing (because we know we have some of the oldest housing stock in the country) or replacing as new, we pride ourselves on the attention to detail and tried & true practices we use to construct all our products.
John Gulick, the owner and master craftsman behind J.A. Gulick Window Co. started the company in 2004, but has been honing his craft since the 1970’s. His handy work, along with his talented team of skilled carpenters can be seen all over the Western New York area. In his spare time, John is a family man and also has a hobby of rebuilding old sporting vehicles.
The key to our success is care. We care about longevity, we care about aesthetics, we care about our employees and we care about the lasting impact of our work.
Chesley Devlin, John’s daughter, is leading the charge for the future and continuing the family tradition. Her appreciation for the natural world shows through her stewardship of custom built windows & doors. She can help clients understand the benefits of restoration and the value add of using wood windows in your home. She has been working and learning alongside John and is excited for future projects that showcase what J.A. Gulick Window Co can do. Outside of work, Chesley is continually supporting and celebrating her three kids in their sports activities. She can be seen on the sidelines of softball, baseball & field hockey tournaments.
